Hi, I’m Dan - husband, father of two, and the heart behind BreathScienceLab.com.

Like a lot of people, I’ve wrestled with stress, drained energy, and the grind of trying to keep up - feeling like I was doing all the “right” habits, but still burning out. Life (work, family, endless to-dos) had me running on fumes.

Then one day, in a conversation with my twin brother, everything shifted. He started telling me about the Wim Hof Method - how it helped him calm his mind and go deeper than he ever had before. I was intrigued. That same day, I started researching breathwork… and it was like a new dimension opened up.

I’d never even considered breathwork before. Now, it's part of my daily life - or at least my weekday mornings. I wake up early, get a quick workout in, and do breathwork before the kids are up. Weekends are less predictable, but even five minutes helps me reset.

That one conversation sparked something bigger: a search for the hidden power inside our bodies. Breathwork deepened my passion for biohacking, and becoming a dad at 38 made me think seriously about longevity. I want to stay healthy and present - not just for myself, but for my family.

I’m not a doctor or a coach. I’m just a guy who’s lived the burnout, found something that works, and now I want to share it.

Why Breath Science Lab Exists


BreathScienceLab exists to share science-backed discoveries that help reset the nervous system, build resilience, and unlock your body’s potential - without hype or jargon.

To me, the breath is always there. Always available. Always honest. That’s why I’m obsessed with its power.

And the reason it’s called a Lab?
Because this isn’t just a blog - it’s a living experiment. I test everything I share. I’m not here to blow smoke. I’m here to figure out what actually works - and share it.

I was doing this for myself anyway. Now I write about it too.
